Dog / Cat Export and Documentation
  
If you are exporting  your dog or cat  to a foreign country from Malaysia or you are going back to your home country with your dogs or cats, we have such service to help from right from the very first step of export permit application, arranging for health check for your dogs, blood test for Nipah virus and even supplying you the dog cage for freight transportation. Some of the works involve in exporting dogs from Malaysia are :-
   
  • All pets would require rabies injection 30 days before departure and vaccination health record to be updated from veterinary private clinic before proceeding to the Shah Alam Government Veterinary.
  • 3-4 days before departure, we will take your dogs or cat to the Shah Alam Government Veterinary for physical examination. Once confirm the animal is fit, the health certificate and export license will be issued.
  • Documentation require for exporting pet shipment
    • Health Certificate – Valid for 7 days
    • Export License – Valid for 30 days
  • Departure of pets has to be within validation period
  • Nipah Virus Test (Applies to countries like Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Korea and EU countries)
    • Blood Sampling
    • Microchip Insertion - We will be able to implant the microchip into your pet if the service is needed. Microchip will be implant by a qualified Vet.
  • Proceed to Veterinary Research Institute (VRI) in Ipoh with blood sample for examination.
  • Please take note that Nipah Virus Test is require before obtaining Health Certificate and Export License from Shah Alam Government Veterinary
  • Nipah Virus Test – Valid for 10-14 days
  • Dog Cage to be provided by client. However, we can supply you the dog case if necessary.
  • Transportation to KLIA Cargo or KLIA Terminal
