Lesson
one : Introduction to Basic Obedience
Class
- Objective
of training
- Housebreaking
Training (toilet training) will be
provided on request.
- Be a
responsible dog owner and your
social responsibilities
- Proper
training equipment
- Introduce
lead training
- Proper
use of collar and leash
- The
aim of the lead training is to
train your dog to walk at the same
pace as you and the your dog
should not be pulling or lagging
you when you take your dog for a
walk.
- Train
your dog not to pick up food from
the floor
- Train
your dog to to rush out of your
house when the gate is open. Your
dog can only go out them you take
them out.
- All
in all, the training will help to
establish as the leader of the
pack.
Lesson
two: Introduce Sit on Heeling at
normal pace, House Breaking Training
- Once
your dog learnt how to heel with
the handler, our next objective is
to train your dog to sit on
healing. With the heel
training, when you begin to walk,
your dog will heel along your site
and with the sit training, you dog
will be trained to sit smartly
when you stop. so the next time
when you walk your dog, you dog
will observe your body language
and whenever you stop, your dog
will stop and sit automatically.

various methods.

three: Introduce Stand on Heeling at
normal pace
- Revision
of commands learnt in previous
classes.
- With
the sit training in previous
lesson, your dog will sit when you
stop. However, there are many
instances that you may not want
your dog to sit and in this case,
you will need to tell your dog to
stand before you stop. This
training will train your dog to
understand the stand command so
that your dog will stop and remain
in stand position when you stop.

four: Introduce Down on Heeling at
normal pace

classes.
- This
exercise is to train your dog to
go to down position during
heeling. With this training, your
dog will learn to go into down
position on command

five: Introduce Sit Stay Exercise
& train dog to pick up food from
the floor
- Revision
of commands learnt in previous
classes.
- The
sit stay exercise is to train your
dog to stay in sit position until
you return. For the initial
training, you will target to train
your dog to stay for 30 seconds.
With more training on your own,
you will be able to extend that
time period to much longer period
of says 10 minutes or more.

down stay exercise is to train

until you return. The initial
